Artist, Daniel Gaviani
Daniel Gaviani is a Massachusetts-based Guatemalan and Italian-American artist working primarily in acrylic and mixed media. His practice spans abstract painting, political installation, and emotional storytelling—often using world building, found objects, and layered symbolism.

Through vivid color and expressive mark-making, Gaviani explores the space between chaos and its transformation into beauty. His paintings reflect identity, states of mind, and healing, while his installations confront systemic issues like migration, violence, and displacement. In both, there's a push and pull between vulnerability and confrontation, control and release. He has completed public art installments and his work has been photographed by the Boston Globe in 2024.
